Rebuilt and updated all applicable Unix based resources to prepare them for Y2K.  On December 31, 1999 at midnight, I was there, in the office, fully prepared.The fact that nothing much occurred anywhere should not take away from the efforts and competence of those who ensured that the systems were ready.
Rebuilt HP-UX mainframes from the OS up.  Built BSDI servers for use as firewalls. Hardened OS, then installed, configured and maintained Gauntlet Internet Firewall software.  Traveled to California to take a certification class on this firewall product.

Systems Engineer, SCO ACE
Build, installation, integration, configuration and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks consisting of SCO Enterprise Unix, SCO Unixware and Windows NT servers as well as DOS and Windows clients.  
Built specialized SCO Unix systems for Respiratory Care Units in Hospitals.  This system integrated with handheld devices to capture patient data.
