2002 Houston IT Candidate Salary Survey |

The Houston IT Salary Survey is an annual survey conducted by the president of JDA Professional Services, Inc., James Del Monte. The salaries in this survey are based on current average earnings at the time of publishing. This survey is an effective tool for guiding IT salaries year round. However, when using it to evaluate your own salary, you must take into consideration the amount of inflation that has occurred since the current survey was conducted. Typical inflation over the course of a year is 4 to 6 percent. Depending on the current state of the local IT employment market, that number is subject to change.

"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
-Confuscious
People do best at what they like most, and people like most what they do best.
The reality is for us is people will accept jobs they think they can do best, and if they do will like their jobs most.
